Technical Details
Op. Manual
  • Low power laser pointer for greater accuracy and reliability (replaces 3-piece telescoping neck probe).
  • Right and left weight is taken by weight sensitive platforms (transducers).
  • Optical encoders are added. A sensor reads the lines and converts the information into digital data. An enhanced indicator (one capable of handling multiple inputs and outputs) converts this information back into useable data and displays the information. Weight accuracy is accurate to 0.1 LB.
  • The same indicator also displays all three posture readings (pelvic tilt, body rotation and upper body tilt) and has an accuracy of 0.1 degree.
  • Patient data is collected in three ways: Check Weight, Check Posture, and Full Check (weight and posture data).  A sophisticated computer program in user-friendly Windows software, gathers, analyzes, records and displays all patient data. Direct input of this data into your office computer can be permanently stored in the database for later retrieval or printed out in a patient-customized format. Multiple Database printout options include One patient-Last Visit, Current Visit, All Visits. or All patients, By Date, By Patient Number. Time/Date stamp on all data.
  • Display of weight and posture data for "quick checks".
  • The scales (transducers) are industry standard load cells of combined 0.02% accuracy.
  • The base is a single piece casting; the adjustable "v" pads have an easy lift movement for adjustment and have greater accuracy.
  • The caliper arm locks have the option of being installed above or below the caliper.

“The Anatometer II paid for itself. We took out a 2-year loan and paid it off in a year, with money to spare. The enthusiasm of our patients and confidence it gave me are still there after 3 years. I can't imagine practicing without it."

John Dunn, D.C.

"I found the new Anatometer II Plus to be just that, a big plus for the doctor who wants sophistication (automation), locking options, ease of use, and margins of safety on foot transducers and enhanced print-outs. The baby was certainly not thrown out with the bath water on this model! Only one step is left for the future and that is direct input into your office's PC. This instrument is better in every respect."

James Palmer, Director of Research, NUCCRA and Professor of Physics, University of Toledo.

"...The over-all instrument (the Anatometer II Plus) is so superior to the past models, that we need to tell the field doctors about them...The major changes have to do with the new digitized readings that are given for the frontal, transverse, and fixed point measurements. Once the field doctor sets the calipers properly, the resultant precision is amazing. To be able to read numbers in tenths of a degree should help the adjuster become a better adjuster."

Dan Seemann, PhD.
